  1. call child services, honestly in a few years she will thank you, that baby desirves more than a druggy for a mom

  2. call child protective services

  3. Well she needs help, but by you saying something to her is not going to make her stop. Maybe a family member should step in and do something abouttaking the child? She obvisouly doesnt care about being a parent at this point in her life. But maybe if her child isnt with her she'll wake up. ) that is if the child hasnt already been taken away.)

Good luck hun, wish i could help you out more.

  4. You can talk to her, let her know you are worried. I hate to say this but....if it gets too bad, you might need to take the baby and take care of him/her or if you can't, then a last resort would be child protective custody. It really all depends on your situation. If she is a good mother who did drugs once or twice, it was certainly reckless but not necessarily something to stress over too too much. If she is doing drugs often then yes, you should worry. An 18 year old girl with a baby can be quite stressful. I had my son at 19. I'm 21 now. I am married and my husband is in the Navy so it wasn't as stressful as it could have been. Again, I don't really know her situation but bear in mind that it is most likely stressful for her and she is probably looking for outlets and unwisely turned to drugs for her outlet. If it is a serious problem, have her checked into rehab. If it is a newly developing issue, have a talk with her with the people she is closest to around, an intervention. Best of luck to you, that must be worriesome for you and her as well. I will pray for you both and that precious little baby ok? :-)

  5. honestly, you need to call CPS (chipd protective services) and get that baby taken away from her.

I know it will be sad for your sister to have her baby taken, but it might open her eyes to what's important to her... probably not though, drugs take over peoples minds, and it will take a lot for her to realize that her baby is the most important thing to her.

Besides, you have to think about what's best for the child. If the child got a hold of some of that ecstasy, it could kill the child. Her child deserves a safer, more responsible environment to grow up in. The baby needs to be supervised by someone who is in their right mind & more responsible.

Good luck.. don't have second thoughts about calling, the child needs help~

  6. I would scare her into stopping.  Tell her that the doctor checks the babies feacal matter after birth to test for drugs from the mother.  Tell her the baby will be deformed.  Tell her that karma will mean that she could have some nasty luck that she is bringing on herself.

Offer her help and alternative ways to relax- doing to the movies, shopping, etc.

She is lucky to have you.
