No, you're not too short.  To be honest though, you're probably going to have to lower the suspension in order to be comfortable.  Make sure you lower the front AND the back though, to keep the bike's handling true.  As a reference, my wife has an '03 CBRrr and she is 5'7".  Hers is not lowered, but she is on her toes when stopped.  Hope this helps.

Ok well I am 5ft 1 and I just got a 04 GS500F I am tip toes when I sit on the seat. My husband wanted me to get an 04 F4i like his. But there is no way I could reach the ground.

I would say as long as you feel comfortable on the bike then go for it.

why the RR?? if too short go with the F4i and add some "dog bones" lowering linkage, to make shorter. Other option is to take seat cover off and cut away foam with a 'hot knife'. start with the sides of seat before the top. make seat narrower not giving up too much padding. if legs go straight down vs bowed around bike might do just what ya need. one of my riding buddies is 5'3" and he rallies his F4i. hope that helps ya.

yes u r too short for that bike im 5.7 and ride a husquvarna 125....the year is 2008.ive been riding since i was 4..
