Iam going on visit visa for UAE for 60 days in july.can i extend it for another 1 month after 1st august 2008?

iam going to UAE on visit visa for 60 days..To find a job as i have done hardware and networking with CCNA globally certified .Bt iam fresher so could you please tel me is there any possibility of getting job as a fresher in my field.what are the companies who are looking for networking and harware professional..what would be the minimum salary for fresher in hardware and networking..?

the visa rules have changed in March, so if you did obtain your visa prior to that, your visa will be valid for 60 days and you should be able to extend it at the cost of AED 500.

I am not too sure about your field of profession, however it is quite common in Dubai to walk in with your CV and ask for vacancies. As skilled labourers are scarce, they will also gladly consider employing a freshy  - all the best on your job hunt!

Hi,

1.)For FYI, Dubai is one of the largest Job Markets in the world and you will get a lot of them.i have bought 6 friends on visit visa and they have never had a chance to extend their visa.

2.)BTW, the companies that u need to apply for is www.messefrankfurtme.com and www.itp.net. They have a huge requirement for Hardware and ITprofessionals.Besides these,other huge companies have an  allotted dept for Hardware and IT only. So please apply there.First thing when you enter the country, log on to www.gnads4u.com(gulf news classifieds) and apply for all the jobs there.

3.)If u r a fresher your salary would be around AED 3500-5000(Rs.40000-55000)If u are very lucky then salary would range from (AED 6000-8000)

4.)(Living in Dubai)Rent in Dubai is around 800-1000(Bedspace) AED4000-6000(full room) food and others:AED500-700,Please buy a buss card for AED 100(one time valid for one month) to travel unlimited for all your interviews. For the next months you refill the bus pass with another AED90 which is an electronic system.

5.)extension of the visa,

for online visa:go to the immigration office with AED 500 in Bur Dubai on the way to Sheikh Zayed Rd(atleast one day before the 59th day)

for normal visa:immigration office near Bur Dubai Bus station,with AED 500 atleast 1 days before the 59th day.
