  1. Everything as far as your electric appliances is the same, as long as there is electricity it works.  You may want to take along a small flash light for unexpected time when there is trouble with the power.  If you go to a resort it is less likely and even so they have generators.  In any case it is nice to have a candle even in a hotel.


  2. The electricity in Dominican Republic is the same as north america. The plugs are the same. They do have frequent power failures in some areas though.

  3. Outlets and power are the same, so you can dry your hair and use your computer (anyway).
