  1. I am particular to RCBS loading data.

I have posted their home page below.

You have to buy their books or get their disc set.

  2. What you need to do is to go to a gunshop that handles reloading equipment, and purchase a reloading manual.  I highly recommend manuals from Speer, Hornady, and Lee's Cast Bullet Manual.

    Doc

  3. Go to Hogdons website. (Alliant and IMR as well.)

They will offer recommended loads of their powders

for different bullet weights in different calibers.

If you actually intend to reload ammunition, you need to

know more than you will find there. Get a good manual,

and read it through before doing anything.

  4. If you look hard you can sometimes find some info on line about re-loading but so far the best thing I have found is to buy a re-loading manual. In fact these days I have just taken to buying those little paperback re-loading manuals for each specific caliber that I an interested in.

I think it's a little safer. You know you are getting proven info as opposed to who knows what out on the net.

  5. Will that help you hunt better?!*

  6. I suspect you have the mistaken impression that there's one powder with one load for each caliber. It's a heck of a lot more complicated than that. For a sampling, you could go to the Hodgdon website at http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp but be careful: if you get the handloading bug, it's hard to cure.

  7. Since there are different grain weights for different powders as well as for different calibers, what you need is a reloading manual.  There are reloading manuals for both smokeless powders and for black powder.  If you don't want to buy one, one may be available at your local library.

  8. May I recommend "The A,B,C's of Reloading" a wealth of information and loading data.

  9. This site contains manuals from many different powder manufacturers and is very useful

    http://www.ssrsi.org/sr1/Weapon/reload.h...

  10. Here is the one I perfer, Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading 7th Edition. And here is a link to a place where you can purchase it: http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0043981216...

  11. There is a book called cartridges of the World, there is a lot of information in that book.  Hodgdon has a website that lists all calibers and recommended loads with powder charges...this site is user friendly.
