  1. Get a solar powered car.

  2. I've got one sitting out back of the barn.   It has no gas and has burnt no gas in years.   Is even somewhat good for the environment as its growing weeds and has a birds nest in it.   Give it to you for free.

  3. Ride a bike.  You can't push your car wherever you go and no one wants to walk everywhere.

  4. Ride a bike; its the ultimate safe environment vehicle.

Road bikes are a very efficient means of travel.  I commute to school (10 miles) and work (6 miles) almost every day no problem.

To find one, check out craigslist.com under the bike listings, and have your local bike shop help to size you and guide your decision.  I recommend finding a shop with the best reputation and one that you feel will do you right.  Take it to them afterwards for a tuneup.

  5. Walk. You could invest in a good pair of shoes, but I'm sure those factories contribute to pollution. The same with a bike. The hybrid vehicles  are totally useless too.. you plug them into electricity! They use batteries and batteries are expensive to replace. Then the batteries pollute when dumped too..Go with biodiesel, but the auto factories pollute and the gov't will find a way to s***w that up too..

  6. Strart saving your money for the World's Cleanest Car.  It runs on compressed air.

"BBC News is reporting that a French company has developed a pollution-free car which runs on compressed air. India's Tata Motors has the car under production and it may be on sale in Europe and India by the end of the year.

The air car, also known as the Mini-CAT or City Cat, can be refueled in minutes from an air compressor at specially equipped gas stations and can go 200 km on a 1.5 euro fill-up -- roughly 125 miles for $3. The top speed will be almost 70 mph and the cost of the vehicle as low as $7000.

The car features a fibreglass body and a revolutionary electrical system and is completely computer-controlled. It is powered by the expansion of compressed air, using no combustion at all, and the exhaust is entirely clean and cool enough for use in the internal air conditioning system. "

  7. Buy it for yourself. The environment is taking care of itself.
