Iam planning to go to sripuram Vellore. to see the Golden temple on 4th july. Iam in blore and travelling by train to katpadi. How far is it from the station and wat is the mode to reach there and also let me know the near by hotels to stay with my fmly .

Vellore's main railway station is at Katpadi, at the northern end of the city.

Katpadi junction is 18km from Sripuram.

Two new railway stations namely, Vellore town and Vellore Cantonment are also there.

Cantonment is 8km from Sripuram while Town railway station is 10km from Sripuram.

From Katpadi, one can reach by state owned bus to Sripuram which takes about 20 minutes drive or less.

The timings of entry into the Temple premises is strictly between 07:00 AM to 09:00 PM.

8kms from the Station

Rs.850 to Rs.2500 (approx.)

Tirupathi (The  Abode of Lord Venkateswara) is 85 kms away.

- River View Hotel

6Kms from the Station

Rs.600 to Rs.2500 (approx.)
