  1. if you've been "training" for six weeks you don't need any suggestions on how to run 3.2 miles.

if you don't know, you haven't.

  2. dont train hard two days before the race. still train just take it easy.

and also eat carbs like pasta the night before the race.

and also drink alot of fluids about one hr before you run.

that will keep you hydrated and will prevent cramps under your ribs-(the ones that feel like air bubbles)

and lastly stretch out really good before you run

    have fun and good luck

  3. I'd do two more "hard" runs, one tomorrow if possible.  Do a 5K course in which you know where the first and second mile marks are run your race pace you intend on doing......and make sure to note your split times.  Then take two or three easy then do a 5 mile run at about 85% in approx. 5 days from now.  Then do the other 3 days before the race easy (distances of 2-6 Mi., nothing hard).  Rest the day before the 5K and you should be ready to go........with the competition I bet you'll run about 1 min. faster than you did on your race pace 5K.  Hope this helps, good luck

  4. eat a lot of healthy foods, and especially the night before, eat a lot of carbs, like pasta. get a lot of sleep. um, keep training that week, but take it easy like 3 days before, meaning do like shorter slower runs.  good luck!
