Iam tring to find a home for rental in Vicenza italy not a vacation rental that will take pets?

That's vacation rentals by owner.  One of their symbols is an indication of pet-friendliness.  Inspite of the title, many properties listed give monthly rates.  Also, listings can include links to independent websites (owner or small property management company), I'm sure some would welcome longer term rentals.  At the very least, you might find a contact or reference.  Note, I've heard from co-workers on long-term Italian assignments that they take 'non-furnished' apartment to the extreme...  no kitchen, no lighting fixtures, all on your own to set up all utilities.

I have yet to visit the Veneto but would love to, Buon Viaggio!
