Iam using compaq c700 notebook

Question

iam using compaq c700 notebook with windows xp. my internet is an LAN network which shows internet is connected now.It is becoz my ethernet driver is not yet updated. When i go to device manager i tryed to update ethernet controller .still not able to update.can you send me the proper link for my notebook to update ethernet controller
