  1. I think white, cream or a light gold would be beautiful. You dont want anything that will try to overpower your red dress.

  2. red, gold, and silver

    gorgeous! and romantic :D

  3. Cream and red-orange http://humphreyflorist.com/photos/weddin...

It sounds bad, but look at the pictures, it's modern, bright and sophisticated.

With you wearing a red gown, I would put your maids in cream/ivory gowns  http://www.houseofbrides.com/product.php...

  4. maybe it could be a 'love the ying yang wedding'.

dont ask,   it just came to my head.

    Love: Red clothing

    White/Black: Ying & Yang.

    Good Luck with the wedding!

  5. My friend did black, white and red.  Red was an accent color, but black and white are always classy!

  6. Black goes with anything. What colors do you like? Paint chips from a local hardware store are a great resource when trying to come up with a color scheme.

You cannot go wrong with black, white, and red.

  8. Try a Bollywood themed-wedding. You can borrow all kinds of wonderful elements from those kinds of images. Red is one of the primary colors used;

I could go on for days!

  9. maybe red and black. have you seen ashlee simpson and pete wentz's weding? it looks awesome.

  10. Pink goes well with red, as does gold.

  11. go back to the color wheel - complimentary colours like oranges, reds and yellows all look good together.  The opposite to red is green, so green makes red look fantastic.  Works well naturally with leaves.

  12. hey cool and good luck maybe something like this

    hope i helped

  13. You could have red and white, red and black, red and gold, red and silver or combinations of these.

red's a gorgeous colour to wear on your wedding, it's nice to see brides in something other than white sometimes (I'm wearing pink =D)

Just think about what colours you like. What would you like the bridesmaids to wear? You could have them in black then you would really stand out from the rest of the wedding party. You could have them in white and you'd also stand out against them.

By sticking to metallic colours you'd stand out and it would look really classy.

For my wedding my bridesmaids will wear cream, I will wear pale pink and my decorating colours will be cream, gold and pale pink.

  14. I went to a wedding on the weekend where the theme was red, black and white. The bride wore a white dress, bridesmaids in red. The reception had black seat covers and white bows on them. The centerpieces had red and white rose petals on the bottom with a mirror and a great big glass vase with a flower arrangement on top.

Have a look at this site for a beautiful red wedding dress:

  15. what a pretty thought!  what about a real sassy hat to go with it?  with a bird-cage veil! i would put the men in black, your attendants in either cream or champagne or you might also want to consider their dresses be in a print of some sort whether it be floral or ???

flowers? white! white! and more white!  they will look stunning against your gown! your accessories? ear-rings, necklace - black stones of some sort and the veil on your hat could be black as well!

you are going to be gorgeous - good luck with it all and i wish you the very best wedding possible.

i say do your wedding day as you and your groom want it to be done.  as long as you aren't hurting anyone or doing anything ignorant, mean or nasty then you should have the day you wish for!

  16. I hope Velvet is s**y enough.

  17. RED..IS A BOLD COLOR. USE SOMETHING THAT FLATTERS THE ENVIROMENT AS WELL AS RED... RED IIN A FALL WEDDING OUTDOORS CAN GO WITH ORANGE, BLACK, NAVY, GREEN, BROWN...EARTHY COLORS...RED IN A MORE FORMAL ENVIROMENT WOULD LOOK GOOD AGAINST SILVER, BLACK, IVORY OR EVEN GOLD. IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR TASTE.

  18. My colours are black, white and red, and i'm going to go for a dress like this one:

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Bridal-Bridesmaid...

so that it doesn't overdo on the red. I'm also going to have my bridesmaids in black knee-length dresses, that i'm going to incorporate the red into. One will have a red sash around her waist, one with red flowers in her hair, and i'm not sure about the third.

I'm going to have a white cake with red gerberas on it and red ribbon, and my boquet will be made out of red gerberas, and my bridesmaids will be white.

  19. I think red and white, black would be pretty. It is easy to find white and red for a wedding. It is your day, make sure it is something you will be happy with. I also think the red and gold idea that the previous response is good as well.

  20. You know dark chocolate brown looks great with red, or another option would be short black dresses with a red ribbon around the waist or something to soften the black - Good Luck

  21. puke green p**s yellow and **** brown beautiful

  22. I would do black and white. Someone recently told me that they went to a wedding where everything was black and white, they even had to wear black and white as the guests, and then the only thing in color was the bride in red. They said it was the coolest thing ever. Bridesmaids in Black with white bouquets, groom & groomsmen in black and white wilth white boutineers for the grooms men and a red for the groom. You in all red with a red bouquet. It would be stunning.

  23. I DID THE SAME THING! HOW COOL!

It was an outside wedding - we wanted his outfit to be like in the movie Against All Odds very non traditional (he's Muslim - I'm Christian)

My bridesmaid wore a strapped floral print dress - not gaudy - real light and pretty

    The flower girls wore white

And my husband wore tan pinstriped pants with a white linen top (white sleeveless tank underneath) and brown closed toe sandles

Me - The red dress floor length, white shoes

The pavilion was decorated in multi colored balloons, streamers,Hawaiian floral arrangements, leis and a tropical theme.

During the night it was all lit up and looked like we were on a beach when we were really in a park.  And it was very romantic with the dj playing in the background

Now I did this outdoors- not knowing where you live, you can do this indoors as well, with all of the props they have now to look like outside for little or no money at all. Just depends on how you plan and how far in advance.

  24. What the heck is shopticate? LOL.

  25. MAN YOU ARE AWESOME!!!  i want a black wedding dress if that day ever comes, but anyway, i think red is already so hot and s**y as a color anyway, but red and black with an accent of silver, BAM!!! so amazing! or you can do red and silver.

  26. When are you getting married?

Fall:  Red/Plum/Burnt Orange  (Autumn Theme:  "Falling" in Love)

Winter:  Red/White/Black (Card Theme:  Two of Hearts)

Other colors that go GREAT with eachother:

    Red/White

    Deep Red/Magenta

    Red/Silver

    Red/Gold

  27. A great contrast color for red, especially if it is going to be an evening wedding, is gold. Not shiny metallic gold, but a nice subdued deep gold. I was going to wear a red dress, as well (before my in-laws threw a fit!) and I was going to use cream, peach, and deep gold as my accent colors. Very elegant and sophisticated and the peach adds a romantic softness.

You can put your Bride's maids in peach or gold colored gowns (depending on time of day; gold for night, peach for day), have the Groom's men wear gold vests/cummerbunds, and have cream colored roses with red tips for your flowers.

  28. Brides dress: Red

Grooms tux: Black with red vest or cumberbund

    Bridesmaids dresses: Black

    Attendants tuxes: Black

Flowers: Red and PLUM with dark green foliage

  29. Yes, red would look great with black and white, but I'm wondering if another option that would look good might be the whole red, gold, yellow, orange family (with maybe not so much orange).  The flowers and decorations would look great against dark green (tablecloth, chair covers etc) and you have a lot more options for flowers.

Whatever you decide, you should really get some gold in there.  So classy.

  30. is it a dark red;

because i think  a chocolate brown and cream would look beautiful together.

cream roses; chocolate bridesmaids; it works!

good luck and all the best :]

  31. I would stay away from black for a wedding. The suggestions for red and gold are good. I have helped a few friends plan weddings and you don't want black. Try red, yellow or gold, and white.
