  1. Definitely ask your doc for recommendations.  Excess calcium in the bloodstream could be a problem with parathyroid hormone.


  2. try to decrease your intake of calcium rich foods, but not too low.

    don't worry too much. if this was really serious, the doctor would have prescribed a chelating agent to remove the excess calcium.

    if you are still worried, talk to your doctor and ask him/ her for more information.

  3. First stop worrying, let the doctor try to figure out why you have elevated calcium and then s/he can tell you what to do.  Depending on just how high it is and other information about your personal history, it could be one of any number of things including lab error.  Remember, it's just a number until your physician delves further into the matter and investigates why your serum calcium is high.  Worrying about it will not help it in any way.

    Doing internet searches for what might cause elevated calcium levels will make you even more upset and worried, so let the physician do his/her job and until then do your best not to get scared.
