England’s inform opening batsman, Ian Bell, has backed the English Cricket Board’s rotation policy, claiming that players need rest due to the endless cricketing schedule.
The conclusion of the current series will be followed by tough assignments against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 and South Africa. Keep this fact in mind; the English management has again opted to give some of its players much needed rest in a bid to keep them fresh for the
upcoming tasks.
"There's a heavy schedule coming up. We need to look after these guys," said Bell. "There's this big series against Australia coming up, and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 after that.”
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760. Englishmen have secured the three-match series by winning the first two
ODIs.
Stuart Meaker, along with all-rounder, Chris Woakes and spinner http://www.senore.com/Cricket/JC-Tredwell-c1676, is included in the squad to replace the established stars for the final game at Headingley. Meaker, who is already a part of England Lions’ squad, is believed to be a quick pace
man and it will be interesting to see his talent unfold on the international platform.
"The key to our success in one-day cricket is having five out-and-out world-class bowlers. So if we want to beat the Australians, we want these guys fit and fresh and ready to go. For the three guys who play in all three forms of the game, it's going to
be crucial,” said Bell.
Bell has made a phenomenal come back after he replaced http://www.senore.com/Cricket/KP-Pietersen-c1806, who announced his retirement from the One-Day format. The exclusion of KP has revived the right-hander’s career, scoring a ton and a fifty in the opening two games, and has not affected
England’s rhythm.
The right-hander says that it is up to the coach to decided whether they opt to rest him however, admitted that he was more than willing to carry on playing considering he had a break of 3 months from the ODI format after he was dropped from the side.
