England’s middle-order batsman, Ian Bell, has advised his side not to become complacent and improve their game as it won’t be easy sailing for them in the sub-continent.
The batsman believes that the English team will find themselves in hot water as Indians are formidable opponents when playing at home. Bell reckons that the Men in Blue will be considered favourites, as they are playing in their
own conditions.
However, the 29-year-old has complete confidence in his team’s abilities and asserts that they are up for the challenge.
“We've played some good cricket. We've made some strides forward with the way we were playing against India in the summer, it's a massive challenge now to come and do that in here. India would be favourites in their own conditions.
We're here to improve and we're looking forward to the challenge,” said Bell.
The English team were considered as underdogs when India toured them earlier this year. However, the Poms exhibited great team spirit and annihilated the touring side in all three formats of the game.

The English team visited India in February 2011 to take part in the World Cup. Both teams were placed in same group. During the World Cup, both sides collided in an epic battle; regulation overs could not decide a winner so the
match ended as a draw.
Speaking about the upcoming series and the tied match, Bell said, “It's going to be a big challenge for us. But it's something we've been doing the past couple of years, coming across challenges and this is another great opportunity
to play some good cricket. The World Cup game we had was a great tie, so it's a great way to start the series and we're looking forward to competing out here.”
England’s tour of India, which comprises of five One-Dayers and a one-off Twenty20 match, begins with an ODI game at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hyderabad-c792, on Friday, October 14.
