Bell scored a match-winning hundred in the second innings of the first Test at Trent Bridge under trying circumstances. The stylish right-hander backed it up with another ton in the first innings of the Lord’s Test and took his team out of trouble.

The middle-order batsman wants to carry on with the momentum in the remaining three Tests of the on-going battle.
“From my first couple of Ashes series I knew I had to improve on that. The Australian team I started against was pretty good, so it is nice to be putting my hand up now as a senior player when we've needed it,” said Bell. “I feel pretty confident right now
and it is good to be putting it together in an Ashes series.”

Bell did not came into the series with great form as he had struggled in the last few series; however, the right-hander is now over to moon to have delivered the goods in one of the most prestigious cricketing battles.
“I don't really feel too bad about the previous series but it is nice to be able to do things when the team need it most and scoring hundreds is what you want to do,” he added.
The third Test of the five-match series is going to be played at the Old Trafford, Manchester, and will begin from August 1.
