England batsman Ian Bell will miss the forthcoming Test series against Pakistan as he recovers from a foot injury.

The injury also casts some doubt over the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755, with Peirce saying that Bell’s involvement in the series will be “reviewed in due course once he has made significant progress with his rehabilitation programme.”
Bell ended a spell in the ODI wilderness that had lasted since November 2008 when he was recalled to his country’s 50-over team for the just-finished series against Bangladesh, and ensured England selectors he had no regrets about their decision as he posted an unbeaten 84 in the first match at Trent Bridge.
In the second match of the series, however, England’s unbeaten record against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 was not the only casualty, as Bell fractured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot while attempting to dive for a catch, the injury initially ruling the 28-year-old out of the deciding match of the series, and now, it transpires, for a more extended period.
