"I'm hoping I have another five or six years at the highest level to play," said the right-handed batsman while speaking to a British Daily on Tuesday. "As a senior player I want to help the team develop and be a major part of meeting those challenges," he added further.

Cricket Australia named Brad Hodge as the captain and coach of its seven-member squad for the Hong Sixes Cricket Tournament later this month.

The eighteenth edition of the two-day tournament, featuring 12 teams from around the world, will be held at the Kowloon Cricket Club from October 27 to 28.
