Ian Holloway handed improper conduct chargeBlackpool manager Ian Holloway has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association. The reason for the charge is due to Holloway's behaviour and language towards match officials after the 2-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers at the weekend. Holloway has until Friday to respond."The referee (Mike Dean) had a poor game and he is going to report me for what I said to him in the tunnel. I thought there was some unbelievably strange decisions out there," said Holloway. The extent of Holloway's punishment is yet to be revealed but it is likely that he will be given a touchline ban and a large fine. This would have a negative effect on the club for a variety of reasons.Bad newsThis is bad news because Holloway is a very passionate and determined manager. He has the ability to inspire his Blackpool team and he encourages the players to raise their game against bigger teams. It's no secret that Blackpool is one of the weakest teams in the Premier League this season. The club looks to the manager to make clever tactical decisions to eradicate the difference between Blackpool and better sides.Holloway will not be able to shout orders at his team and get his players moving if he is banned from the touchline. It will take the club longer to relay instructions from the manager and this may be time the club doesn't have in the middle of a game. This charge will also prevent Holloway from speaking out in the future. His comments towards Mike Dean were just what he felt at the time. Holloway will now have to keep a lid on his feelings after a game when his players look to him for a reaction.Betting adviceBlackpool's fortunes don't look as though they are going to get better any time soon. It will take a very brave man to bet on the club staying up even though the Tangerines have started the season quite well. Bet in play over the next one or two games but expect Blackpool to struggle if Holloway is banned.
