Ian James Thorpe makes a surprise comeback in London 2012 Olympics
Ian James Thorpe, the greatest ever Australian swimmer and five time Olympic gold medallist, has surprisingly announced a comeback in London 2012 Olympic Games.
“I am training harder, harder and harder nearby Sydney home nowadays. I have lost 10kg recently. I feel myself to be still amongst the number swimmers”, Thorpe said.
Ian James Thorpe, Australia’s five time Olympic gold medallist still eyes on London 2012 Olympics. Therefore, his sudden comeback has created a huge suspense among the global community.
“I think there is no age of retirement. If you are feeling yourself stronger, fitter and tougher enough then you should join in by whistling into the sports arena”, Ian James Thorpe expressed.
“Thorpe is a very talented, tough, challenging and crude swimmer. He is training harder and enjoying his training sessions. I hope so he will be prepared for the event strongly”, Thorpe’s manager Dave Flaskas alleged.
The excessive business commitments have led to the 28 year old swimmer to again mull over the mega Olympic events. “Due to the rapid amount of changes during the global financial mess Ian James Thorpe has decided yet again to start his training in the swimming
pools”, Flaskas said.
In addition, “longer and persistent tours have also impelled him to contemplate on swimming again and Thorpe has been carrying out pool training sessions in between his business commitments”, he elucidated.
Thorpe took retirement from the international swimming last year wherein he alleged that he would not participate anymore in the 4x100m freestyle relay. But this is shocking news for the global community that Thorpe will compete in London 2012 Olympics.
Meanwhile, Thorpe will have to take a World Anti Doing Agency test, which will take place before the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games. There is a long way to go to London Olympics. Hopefully, Thorpe will go through with it successfully.
A sudden comeback of Australia’s five-time Olympic gold medallist has also whistled to some of the other greatest stars in the world swimming involving Michael Phelps, Peter Waterfield, Allaine Bernard and likewise.
“I have had very good, tough and intriguing contents with Phelps already and this will be very interesting to see how the things will go on in the London 2012 Olympics”, said by Ian James Thorpe.
