Iberostar paraiso beach?

Question

Does anyone know how strict they are at enforcing the drinking age down there? Im going to be 17 when I visit so will I have any problem enjoying a few beers while Im there?

While Cancun has long been the destination for college students on spring break, it is now attracting a high-school crowd because the age-18 drinking requirement is rarely enforced and tour companies are allowed to advertise all-you-can-drink to teenagers of any age.  The Iberostar is No exception.My 16 yr old friend had no problems getting drinks as long as youre not acting up or getting rowdy
