Ibrahimovic and Robinho getting swapped?
Right now Barcelona is in the middle of signing in a deal to swap players. It has been working on the matter for quite some time and now it seems to be a real possibility.
The transfer deal will involve the transfer of a Barcelonan player for a player from another team. The first name that comes up is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the 28-year-old Swedish striker, who is currently part of FC Barcelona and Swedish national football team. The second name is of Robinho. Barcelona is trying to make a deal to swap Zlatan Ibrahimovic with Robinho from Manchester city.
There is still a lot of speculation going around, and the deal has not been finalized so far. However, both clubs have showed their consent regarding the swap.
Sandro Rossell, Barcelona’s new president has admitted that he is working hard and is very close to making an “extremely difficult” transfer deal that involves the Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Zlatan has himself openly announced that he wants to move out of the squad so he has a chance to play in the Premier League. Also to be fair his game play makes him deserve a spot.
Robinho seems anxious to leave the East Lands, and the Spanish champions seem keen to relieve themselves from Ibrahimovic. Barcelona has made it clear that club would happily trade Ibra for another player. However, if that does not happen, the striker is also up for the offers.
Ibrahimovic’s reported weekly wages are rumoured to be something around 187,000 pounds a week, and right now a trade-off may be something that both clubs might be interested in.
It is rumoured that AC Milan is interested in both the players, and if they have the money then they might end up buying both the players, although the possibility for the club paying for two players is quite low.
It was reported by the media that Robinho would always prefer a move back to Spain, and is currently waiting on how things work out with him and Barcelona before he makes a final decision on where he wants to go.
However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made some clashing statements in the media on different occasions regarding where his future lies professionally. He has openly said in a press conference that he wants to stay at Camp Nou and remain a part of Barcelona.
Zlatan says that although he wants to have a contract with the Catalans but not right now. On the other hand, he announced to the media that he is seriously interested in the Premier League and wants to play there, and even if that means him moving to another team to do so.
Clearly his statements about his future are conflicting with each other. Right now Barcelona’s president seems to be interested in the Inter Milan player and wants him to join his ranks.
Roberto Mancini has not included Robinho in his plans for the future of his club, and if a deal is made in which the Brazilian player gets swapped with Ibrahimovic, then the Eastland’s manager is going to pounce on it to make it a reality soon.
Zlatan has been under the command of numerous bosses and has achieved numerous royals in football so far.
He has achieved six domestic titles in three countries and ninety two goals in five seasons while playing in Serie A.
Adding to his fame, Ibra had a very decent term in La Liga. If the magnificent player moves to Manchester, he would leave other forwards wondering what position they would be playing now.
