The AC Milan vice-president insists that he did not pay much attention to Ibra when he vented out his frustration, citing it as a reason for his fighting nature.
Reports have been rampant across the media that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 has had a falling out with Rossoneri coach, Massimiliano Allegri, in the aftermath of their heavy defeat to Arsenal.
Ibra has not hidden the fact of being under utilised in the UEFA Champions League game, and felt out of position during the entire match.
Besides that, the Swedish international has also remarked that such defeats should not take place for the men in red and black. He stated his disappointment after his team’s lacklustre performance, and blamed
the tactics deployed in the match as the reason for their loss.
This outbreak led to widespread speculation in the media of a rift between Ibra and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Max-c24993 Allegri. The Milan chief went onto state that he favours an irate Ibrahimovic, but he quashed rumours of any bust up
between the player and the manager.
The chief went on to state:
“The angrier he is the better. I prefer an angry Ibrahimovic. When he isn’t annoyed he loses his combativeness. Everything is absolutely fine between Allegri and Ibra. The situation with Ibrahimovic was resolved
as soon as it was born.”
It has also been reported that the Milanello board moved quickly to hold a meeting between the Swede and the former Cagliari tactician for them to work the feud out.
Things seem to have subsided as a consequent result of the meeting; Galliani went further to state his admiration for the striker. He maintained that the player has shown great commitment and immense concentration
levels, further mentioning:
“He’s a fantastic guy who wins so much because he is always so focused and determined.”
Milan qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, and managed to make hard work of it, losing 3-0 to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 at the Emirates Stadium.
Allegri and Ibrahimovic will be hoping that such performances are not replicated in the near future, which will hamper their Scudetto aspirations as well as their Champions League dreams.
