Ibrahimovic looking forward to Juventus clash and happy with win over Vitoria Plzen
A.C Milan striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029, is eagerly looking forward to the Serie A clash against his former employers, Juventus.
The Turin giants will host the Rossoneri in an important Serie A encounter at the Juventus Arena on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011. Juventus are currently on top of the league table with 8 points from 4 games, while Milan
have picked up 5 points from their 4 matches thus far.
Ibrahimovic, who made a return from injury in his team’s 2-0 UEFA Champions League win over Viktoria Plzen, is looking to bag another three points for his team. The Swedish international made a goal-scoring return and was influential
in his team’s bright performance on the night.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan striker missed three weeks action due to a muscle injury picked up during the training and was dearly missed by his team. Massimiliano Allegri’s men have not had a great start to the season and have won just
one of their opening four games thus far.
The 29-year-old is delighted with his team’s victory and also with his contribution in that win. The striker admitted that he is feeling fresh and is ready to play the game against Juventus.
While talking to the reporters, Ibrahimovic said, “It was a very important win and, above all, my first goal since the injury. I am feeling fine and hope to be even better on Sunday. I played the entire game and didn’t feel any
problems.”
The former Ajax star is feeling no pressure to play against his former employers and is only going to Turin to win. The striker is predicting a tough game and believes that both teams have an equal chance to win.
“On Sunday evening it’s Juve, my old club. It is going to be a tough match, but we will go to Turin in order to win.”
Ibrahimovic spent two years at Juventus and scored 23 goals in 69 appearances for the club. He left the Turin giants for Inter Milan in 2006 after they were relegated to Serie B due to Calciopoli scandal.
