Ibra has backed the striker to score against the Oranje as it is the best opportunity for him to prove his mettle. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 star insists that the player of his calibre must score at least 20 goals a season but he is
not living up to his potential thus for.
The 30-year-old added that he likes to look at the player’s statistics but he was not impressed after watching Toivonen’s numbers because he has the potential of scoring more goals. Ibrahimovic added that the former Malmo star
definitely needs to improve his game in order to make big steps in his career.
While talking to the reporters, Ibra said, "I like to use the internet to look at statistics, and when I look at PSV, I don't see his name enough. A player with his qualities in the Netherlands should score more often and get more
assists.”
“I do not see many of his games, but for a No.10 for PSV, if he has ambitions, he should score at least 20 goals [a season]. If he does not do this, he will find it difficult to make the steps in his career that he would like to."
Toivonen was considered as one of the best talents in the game during the early days of his career but could not replicate the early form. The 25-year-old attracted interest from host of top European clubs while playing for the
Swedish U-21 squad.
