Ibuprofen Ovderdose?

I've think I've taken 8 Anadin Ultra tablets. Thats 200mg of Iburprofen. I thought it was paracetamol, so didn't know the maximum was 6 tablets. Whould this casue any problems?

you are in the maximum permitted dose  don't worry but don't take More few days

ibuprofen is not paracetamol

I'm no pharmacist, but I think it'd take more than 800mg of ibuprofen to cause problems. In fact most over the counter Ibuprofen products are 200mg per pill. I think you'll be fine, unless you're allergic.

The immediate symptoms may be abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, headache & ringing of the ears. Generally, the symptoms observed with an overdose of ibuprofen are similar to the symptoms caused by overdoses of other NSAIDs. Make sure that you read the label carefully next time.
