Ice Cool Billy tuned up for success in the Grade A2 1st Leg Pick 6 Jackpot

Competing for the £88 prize money in the Grade A2 1st Leg Pick 6 Jackpot are Comanche Annie, Moors Fleece, Golden Donaire, Ice Cool Billy, Blackrose Diva and Tyrur O Reilly. The 462 metres flat race will be staged at Yarmouth on Monday, 1st
October.
The entries have been recently active in Grade 2 and 3 races, but primarily Grade A3.
The four-year-old black dog, Ice Cool Billy, has scored second in the last two Grade A2 races while getting entered as the most favoured entry.
The runner-up’s position in both the races became possible after the Grade T4 on 6th September, 2012 at Yarmouth over 462 metres.
On 10th September, 2012, it took him 28.43 seconds to race beyond the wire right after the winner, who had the advantage of the final three lengths. It took the winner, Gorm Aris, 28.19 seconds to conclude the race.
The fourth trap failed to set into an early pace which subsequently deprived him of the first position.
The winner had broken from the third stall.
His next try was in the Grade A2 462 metres flat race on 22nd September, 2012 at Yarmouth.
Yet again the favourite entry went lose from the same spot, but suffered wasting time due to getting baulked at the quarter. The winner, Tinahue Harvey, did get crowded, but was able to recover due to the leading stance that he had enjoyed in the race since
almost the beginning.
It took him 28.38 second to seal the race.
The J. A. White trained is backed by 3 to 1 odds, and has drawn the same box that he broke out of since the last three races.
An entry to look out for is the three-year-old black b***h, Moors Fleece, who was successful in a Grade A3 the last time that she raced.
She claimed the £78 prize money of the Grade A3 4th Leg Pick 6 Jackpot on 17th September, 2012 at Yarmouth over 462 metres flat. The blue jacket suited her as she took the rail and then led on from the third position timing the track
distance in 28.53 seconds.
