Ice Hockey Goalie Questions?

Question

1. What do ice hockey goalies wear underneath underarmour? (Boxers or underwear or anything?)

2. Do goalies wear hockey socks over their underarmour and then put their pads on over the hockey socks?

3. In goalie pants if there is are knee guards attached in it can you take them out if there is a thigh guard already attached to the pad? (Thigh Guard = Square Board)

4. How high (when a goalie is standing on his skates and his stick blade is tip down on the ice) should the stick? (chin or nose?)

5. On goalie skates what area of the skate should be tightened more, the foot part of the skate or the heel/ankle part of the skate?

6. Should you wear your ice hockey goalie pants lower or higher on your waist? How do you know how high/low to wear them???

4 chin... handle around hip, do not cut a goalie stick

6 so it doesnt interfere with the leg pads, and so it touches your chest protector

1) I don't wear Under Armour personally. Boxer-briefs work well for me.

2) I wear hockey socks to keep the knee pads underneath my goal pads in place.

3) Yes ccm/heaton goalie pants usually have this feature.

4) I use a goalie stick that reaches my chin.

5) I would say the foot part.

6) Right around my waist
