Ice Maker problem 106-626636

Question

I have a kitchen aid fridge ksre25fhwh02.The ice maker worked fine, I disconected it for two weeks and remodeled the kitchen. I ran a new water line, now it wont work. There is water in the door, when the water arm is touched.How do you manually cyclr this ice maker, to see if the water valve is opening, or if the heater comes on, and the motor turns?Thanks, Stu
