Ice athletics cheerleading?

okay so in the next tryout sate for ICE [next may] im going to try out, i have my back handspring with light spot, and im really close to having it on my own.

i was thinking; i could go to a bunch of open gyms and my freind [ she does ice] could help me. i want it on my own by september at latest.

then im going to take a back tuck [the next step after back handspring] clinics and flyer clinics switching off every other saturday or sunday.

i will also start taking cheer classes once a week

and private tumbling once a week

does it sound like a good plan to get my back tuck by may so i can be working on my layout just like my friend, so we can do it together

also what else can i do to help?

ive been taking cheer and gymnastics since third grade but was never really comitted, and then stopped for 2 years, and now i wanna pick it back up completely focused on cheer

  1. yes i think it sounds like a good plan. im a gymnast and i have a trampoline in my backyard and i got mine by practicing mine on the tramp and then when i got it high enough i took it down to the ground and i got my mom to spot me. then i keep doing that and i got it.    our coaches tell us to drink vitamin water and just plain water  and alot of fruit and the quaker oat oatmeal with the fruit already in it s good and cereal bars also

    ok, i do tumbling there to get ready for cheer too.

    and if you want to do privates i suggest jeff or lisa

    they are really good

    and about the back tuck. if your going to be taking that many classes and practicing for that long

    you will definitly have it
