Ice cream dumplings?

I was at a sushi restaurant and is was my friends birthday

so they brought us this desert

which seemed like dumplings with ice cream in them

anyway they were amazing

and i was just wondering what they're called

i think they were bacci balls or sumthing

If you were in a sushi restaurant, they were most likely MOCHI ice cream:  they come in a variety of flavors
