Ice maker not making ice after replacing water... Water line had rusted out at water hookup

Question

Water line had rusted out at water hookup source in the wall. Replaced the water line. It was making ice prior. Not making ice now & it was making a loud noise off & on. Turned off water. Turned water back on & it's not making that noise, but it's also not making any ice. It appears that inside the freezer, it may be leaking or frozen up - see ice droplets on the back wall near the source. I had a friend buy & hook up the water line - but I notice that there's a ''connector'' sitting on the table. ??? Frigidaire Refrigerator Side by Side
