Ice maker repair and still no ice

Question

My fairly new (15 months old) pricey Kenmore Elite side by side icemaker is not making ice. Sears Home Repair was out...tech said the "motor" was bad and replaced it for $250. He said "you'll have ice in 2 hours" and of course more than 24 hours later, it still has not produced any ice. The water dispenser works fine and am not convinced that the motor was bad since the result is still the same. Any suggestions as they're scheduled to return again tomorrow?No ice. There is water to the dispenser but not to the ice maker. There is no light indicating that the ice maker is on.
