Ice pack or heating pad for my abscessed tooth?

i got my amoxicillin today but no pain killers ( didn't want them as I have to stay alert at work). so am I to use ice or heat for then pain and swelling?

Ice is best. Avoid heating pads, it will make things worse. You can use over the counter pain meds like Advil  or Motrin or aspirin in addition to the Amoxicillin. Good Luck

use the ice pack that will help with swelling and the pain
