If water is hydro, air is aero, earth is terra, heat, thermo, and fire is pyro, what's ice?

  1. thermo i thought was just basic extreme temperatures (which includes cold)...

    But you have a VERY good point!!


  2. Cryo is used for frozen, but  don't recall hearing a separate prefix for ice.  It is water in its solid state.  I guess it would depend on how you are using it.

  4. Ice is also hydro, as is water vapor. However, "cryo" means frozen and "thermo" means extreme temperature, if that's what you're looking for.
