Ice skate practice wear.?

Question

Would you say that there is an age limit to wearing the skate dresses and skirts and leggings when you go ice skating? I am 19 and I have only really seen the younger skaters wearing them. Am I too old to wear them?

I have been skating for six months now and I really love it!

I do not feel comfortable in jeans.

The skirt and legging combo is the option which I would go for, but like I said am I too old to be wearing that sort of stuff?

You're never to old to wear a solid color classy style skating dress with tights, Just stay away from the patterned fabrics that are made for youngsters and you'll look fabulous. But then, I'm a little edgy as we used to see this young man in Chicago early in the mornings that wore a skating dress and tights for rollerblading along the paved trails along the lakefront and most of us thought that he looked incredible in an edgy way. LOL
