  1. RIDELL!

    ridells are great!

  2. I have Riedell ice skates and I think they work really well! you should get Riedell

  3. i think riedell was coolest. but it is not my disision it is your's. =)

  4. I asked the same question at the pro shop before. :)

They said Riedell's skate is narrower. So,if you prefer width B or C,maybe Jackson skater is better for you.

But you'd never know how you actually feel about it until you try those skate at the shop though.(and that IS important)

Anyways, good luck with finding your new skate! :)

  5. I have heard only good things about Riedells and I have zero experience with Jackson's, other than hearing they run small.  What level are you skating?  My skaters have told me that their Riedells are very comfortable and they've been very happy with them.  :)

  6. Riedell - if you look at the top skates they all go with Ridell and I think their lower level skates are better too.

  7. You did not mention your level. and the jackson link does not work. So I can't say which.

  8. I own the Gold Medallion model and I have been very happy with them so far. There has been very little break in time and overall, they are confortable skates.

I like Jackson skates too, but since we don't have anyone locally who can fit us for Jacksons, we have been buying Riedell skates. Our rink sells Riedell skates and has a fitter on staff.

Everyone has different feet and skates will fit differently because of that. If you have a pro shop near you, I would go there and try different models on. Make sure there is someone there who can guide you to the right size too. The last thing you want to do is spend 200+ on a pair of skates only to discover they don't fit you correctly! For example, I wear a size 7.5 reg width in street shoes but my skates are a size 6 W. Riedell do run narrow, so the width isn't surprising, but no way would I have bought a size 6 before I was measured.

If you don't have a pro shop, ask around at your rink to find out where people order their skates from. It is definately important to find a brand and size that works best for your skill level, your feet and your budget.
