  1. Find something that will be comfortable to wear, theres no use in wearing something that you cant move in - and since you have recently started, dont wear anything too "pretty" in case you fall over. Leave the really pretty type clothes until you're really good at skating.

  2. Just wear something that will allow you to move (so it has to be stretchy) and will keep you warm. If you think it's going to pull out of your skirt a lot then you might want a leotard.  But otherwise, just a long sleeve shirt and a sweatshirt.

You don't want something too big or bulky that flops around.  It should be fitted.

  3. When i skate i usually wear underarmour or a sweater. you could also buy a fleece northface or something.

  4. Generally, people wear long-sleeved body suits with the skirts, and tights. You can wear a light sweater as well.

  5. i just wear a trackie top with my skirt and t-shirt vest

  6. my sister is an ice skater..she does many lessons and competes. For her practices and lessons she wears her skirt and just a sweater. All you need to wear is a sweater and a skirt..

  7. Really you can skate in yoga pants, t-shirt, a jacket and a pair of gloves, it will suit you just fine. If you would like to get a dress to wear you can, but a dress is completely optional. Here are a few websites that may help you find what you are looking for:

    Good luck!

  8. You're best off wearing a body suit underneath your skirt.. at least it's what i do....

You don't have to buy these from the internet, you can get them at any local dance shop that is in your area..

I also recommend thick tights, and a lightweight jumper/sweater that will allow you to move yet keep you warm.

if however you do want to buy online, drop me a mail and i'll send you some links

    all the best
