Ice skating for adults? Are there competitions for adults (I'm 40!)?

Question

I started ice skating lessons when I was about 6 years old, and stopped too soon, because at that age I wasn't taking it very seriously. Now I have a daughter who is doing that, and everytime I watch her on the ice, I feel the urge to do it too...I've always regretted not pursuing this when I was younger, now I'm 40 years old...are there courses for adults only?, and are there competitions for adults? I ask this here, because at the arena where my daughter skates, I don't see any adds for adults courses...so I'm just wondering

I ice skatind when I was 25 and stopped at 35.  Got back to ice at 43 which is about a year ago.  It is FUN!  Also, I was overweight and it help me loose 20 lbs with diet, 2x a week ice skating, and 3x a week inline-skating.
