Ice skating invention!?

Question

If there could be one ice skating invention what would it be??? It could be for ice skating or related to it.

I would like a convertible pool to an ice rink. For those who have to drive a long way to practice or just for practice, this would be perfect. You could swim or skate anytime. It's just like the ice rinks you can assemble at home, but doesn't need to be freezing outside. it would be like an outside rink, but you could practice at home!!

Me? Well, I would like to make a pair of skates that can spin, jump...etc on land AND ice. My skating lessons is in Lotte World and when I want to skate my mom says that I'm busy and she's busy, too... But there is this wide space where it could be an ice rink but it's LAND!!!!! So maybe if I were a pro scientist I would like to invent skates that can do ice skating tricks on land and ice. Rollerblades can't spin. I once tripped while I was trying to spin on Rollerblades!!! I think I'm TOO in to Ice Skating sometimes!!

HA!!  I've often thought of the same exact invention you are thinking of!!!  Even though there are many local rinks, I don't have any time to get to any of them.  But being able to skate at home - on the pool - would be soooo convenient!!!!  I live in a HOT area . . . so I know there's just no way a pool could ever freeze "under the sun" . . . but wouldn't that be way cool?!  

My friends and I used to joke about some kind of spring system to put under the blade to launch you higher for jumps - hee hee.  It would only pop out when you need to jump!!!  :)
