i need to know how the new judging system works for pre-juvenile skaters and what is the most difficult program they can have. If you could also give me a website for me to check it up, that would be great. Please be specific about the elements, etc. and your answer is appreciated.

  1. im pretty sure the new judging system only works for juvenile and above.

the most difficult program you can have is anything up to a  double lutz combonation. no double axels.

you can have any difficulty of spins and footwork. there is no limit to difficulty, just to the number of spins you do.

go on usfigureskating.org and try something. and if you cant find the information there (i know its difficult) then try e-mailing usfigureskating and ask them about it.

  2. Well, here is a website for any element and what the points are. However, I thought that Pre-Juv. was still on the 6 point judging system...

I don't know where you can get the rules, but the USFSA website might have them, or a skating rule book might.

  3. If I'm not mistaken, the ISU has the rules and all listed on their website.

  4. the new judging system may not be in effect in pre juv, but in your combination spin, try to have a lot of arm movements, level changes (for example: camel spin to sit spin), and foot changes. double lutz, especially in combination. lots of choreography, spirals, difficult and symmetrical footwork... thats all i can think of good luck :)
