  1. Yes you may. But I would think it would be easier to just use the ones on board but you are allowed to use the ones on the ship. Royal Caribbean is an AWESOME cruise line!! Its so much fun ice skating in the ocean! But remember to bring long pants and socks(we didnt on our first cruise) to use while skating, they require it. Have fuN!! Your going to have a great time!!

  2. Yes, you can bring your own skates.  Put them in your checked luggage if you fly.  As to weapons on the ship, you can always go into the restaurant and get a knife, so I wouldn't worry to much about a shoe with a blade.  Also, people bring razors to shave with.

The following is from Royal Caribbean's website ...

Q:   What items are not allowed onboard the cruise ship?

A:   Aside from the obvious (and illegal) items not allowed onboard, there are other items we cannot accommodate onboard.

    Prohibited items:

    Candles

    Coffee Makers

    Electrical Transformers

Flammable Liquids and Explosives (such as fireworks)

    HAM radio equipment

    Hockey sticks

    Illegal Drugs

    Irons

    Personal Alcohol

    Skateboards

    Surfboards
