  1. I don't have a recipe for you  , but follow your gut and buy either the cheap kind or the green tea out of the bottle.

  2. I have a glass picture and I put 8 family size Lipton tea bags in it with water and cut up a lemon and set it in the sun for 8 hours and then when I bring it back in the house I add 3 cups of sugar and then put it in the freezer to get cold.

  3. I also love iced tea, this is how I make it:

I put 7 bags of lipton tea and a few slices of lemon in a large pitcher and poor boiling water over it, I let it steep for 5 minutes then add 2 cups of sugar.  After the sugar is dissolved I add about 2 cups of ice, stir, and it's done!

That will make a lot of tea, but if you just want  to make 1 cup of tea, put 1 bag on lipton tea and 2 slices and lemon in a cup, add the boiling water and 3 teaspoons of sugar. then I add about 1/2 cup of ice.

    Hope I helped! =)

  4. Place the two cups water in a pot and add the tea bags. Bring to a boil, do not continue boiling. Remove from heat and let steep. Pour warm tea into empty pitcher. Add the sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Fill remaining pitcher with cold water or if you want lemon iced tea, lemon juice.

  5. well I use tea bags about 3 bags to half a gal, water, and then I squeeze 2 lemons, and put it in my tea, including the lemons!! great!!!

  6. I buy Lipton's plain green tea (bags), brew it as usual then pour over lots of ice. Squeeze fresh lemon in and you've got lemon iced tea =) If you like it sweet, you could also add a bit of sugar.

  7. omg never put boiling water over lemons! it makes it bitter!

what you do is you SIMMER a liter and a half of water

add 7 Lipton black teabags to the water

turn off the heat and let it steep for 2-5 mintues

after the steeping is done, let the mixture cool for another 4 minutes.

Add about 1 lemon's worth of juice into the mix

    Sweetener:

using sugar in your ice tea makes it all grainy. ICK. so, what i do is i make simple syrup.

Simply put two cups sugar and one cup of water into a saucepan and heat until the mixture is combined, and the sugar mixture is clear.

    good luck!

  8. Get a good type of tea (Lipton, Orange Pekoe, a black tea).

    Need following:

A Bag of fresh good black tea (Liptons, orange pekoe or any good tea)

    Coffee Cup

16 oz. heavy glass tumbler (also called a bar glass)

    Tray of ice

Sugar or Stevia or sweetener of your choice

Wedge or two of lemon (wash the lemon before cutting)

Bring water to boil in a kettle.  Place the desired amount of sweetener in your coffee cup, on top of that place a tea bag.  Pour the boiling water over it and allow it to steep for 3 - 4 minutes.  Using a long handled spoon, gently stir the tea to make sure the sweetener is mixed up.

Fill your tall glass plumb full of ice.  Carefully pour the hot tea in your coffee cup over the ice.   When the tea has all been transferred, squeeze one or two lemon wedges into your drink. Stir the drink.  Add more sweetener if necessary.  Stir a little more until the drink is very cold.  If you want it fancy, in a plate, (so you can catch all the juice) slice lemon into very thin rounds and add to your drink.

That's how I make my iced tea one glass at a time -- because I'm the only one in our household who drinks tea cold.

    --------------------------------------...

I drink regular iced tea but I'm partial to Tazo's  Passion flavored tea and I use about half a tsp. of Stevia in it because I like it sweet.  I got hooked on the tea -- used to order the drink frequently from  Starbucks when I was working.

If you have any fresh mint, that is delicious.  Add it to your pitcher of iced tea if you are making a lot of iced tea as per instructions other people have given you.
