  1. double coffee in the brewing

  2. go to starbucks

  3. There's a wonderful thing called a Toddy cold brew coffee maker that makes extra-concentrated coffee so that you can add water, ice, and/or milk or soy milk to it for iced coffee without watering it down too much. It also doesn't get that oily film on top like hot coffee does when you refrigerate it, and thus tastes better cold than regular coffee does.

Actually, you don't even necessarily need the Toddy product, though it is more convenient and effective than, say, a bucket and paper or cloth filters. It's a simple process. Put a bag of coffee grounds in a large container of cold to lukewarm water, stir, and let soak overnight. Then you filter it into a pitcher, at which point you have coffee about 2-4 times stronger than regular coffee (this can vary depending on your coffee:water ratio and how long you soak it). Refrigerate and when you want some, add ice and water/milk/soy milk to taste. Good stuff!

Another option would be to make espresso, if you happen to have an espresso machine, and just add lots of ice. Half of it will melt before it gets cool enough, but it won't get all filmy and the stronger espresso will keep it from tasting watered down. Then you have an iced Americano.

  4. Make it a bit stronger, and add a little milk and flavored cream, like mocha or hazelnut, or a bit of chocolate or caramel syrup.  You can also try putting that in the blender with the ice to make a frapp (and top w/ cool whip), or even better (but more calories) mix some plain, cold black coffee with ice cream for a coffee shake.

  5. you need to add more coffee, less water so it will be stronger.

  6. more sugar, make stronger coffee

&cream shake it in an ice shaker

  7. Put a package of hot chocolate drink in a glass.  Add some coffee creamer, any flavor you like.  Then add some strong coffee. Mix.  Put in the freezer until cold.  Add crushed ice.  It's not bad for at home.
