Iceland - a short holiday?

I want to go to Iceland by myself for 3 days very soon. What should I see? Where should I go? Any tips?

Assuming you live in the US or someplace in Europe,go to Icelandair and book one of their packages. Iceland is really expensive, and their tours are cheaper than doing it yourself. In3 days you would mostly be limited to areas near the capital, but there is plenty to see and the tours  are well organized. Enjoy the almost midnight sun and the blue lagoon.

I went to Iceland for 3 days on my way home from Peru and North America. The sights I saw included Geysir (as the name suggests the place of a geyser), Thingvillir - the home of the original parliament in Iceland and the north end of the Atlantic Rift, and Gullfoss - a waterfall. I went in December so also saw the Northern Lights. I suggest a visit to the Blue Lagoon although there are cheaper thermal pools in Reykjavik.

I stayed in a guesthouse called Baldursbra and was a good guesthouse.
