Ichat with a person who has AOL 9.0?

Can i do this? if so how? I know how to send it but it says they dont get it? (they invite) thanks everyone 1st answer 10pts (1st helpful one)

Hi there,

I have AOL 9.0 so perhaps I can help.  If you are meaning you Instant Message then you can chat.   First of all,  you have to download the free AOL instant messenger.  It is called AIM.  Then you have to get yourself a user IM identity and give that information to the person you want to chat with.  Next, you have to put that person on your Buddy list and they have to do the same for you.   Now, when you click on each other's IM icon...  you should have no trouble chatting.

I have a few friends who don't use AOL as their primary server, so that is the procedure we must follow to be able to IM one another.
