Icon Merc Jacket (Men's and/or Women's)?

I'm looking for anyone that knows some info on the Icon Merc Jacket for Men and/or Women. Looking to get one for my husband and myself and want to know what you think. How is the fit, how light of a jacket it, is it comfortable, does it offer good protection, how do the sizes run? I've looked at a size chart on the internet for them, but that still doesn't tell me if the sizing on the particular jacket runs big or small. Any help here would be great. Also, how about it being a cooler weather jacket for early fall/spring.

I tried on dozens of Icon jackets before deciding none of them would fit me. My buddy has one, and it is an OK piece of gear, but it was really expensive for what you got. It was kind of crudely constructed and I wasn't all that impressed. I ended up buying one from foxcreekleather.com. It doesn't look as cool as the Icon, but it is a much nicer jacket for the same money. I have an Icon Tarmac for summer riding though, and that's a nice jacket. I had to buy a 2X to get around my shoulders and chest though, and then have the sleeves taken up by a tailor.

Just make sure you get the jacket somewhere you can return it for a different size.

I personally liked the ones by Scorpion a lot better than the Icon ones.  They will probably all serve their purpose in a crash though.
