Iconic Missile to outpace Frankies Hawk in A2 500m Flat at Sheffield
Iconic Missile is not going to let his rivals enjoy the party in the 500 metres flat race at Sheffield on Tuesday, June 5th. The Grade A2 event is set to begin at 22:15 GMT.
Among Iconic Missile’s opponents are: Frankies Hawk, Kowloon Conner, Frisby Falcon, Kauto Jet and Lorry Cross. The champion hound will walk away with a cash prize of £102.
Iconic Missile has been doing a decent job over the past few weeks. After making a couple of fantastic trips, the white and black dog moved to the upper class, but failed to make an impact.
In an A1 event, J. Davy’s trainee ended up third, despite having a great chance of finishing on top of the list. However, one cannot rule him out of the equation, because he has an impressive record at this level.
In his previous A2 race in late May, the rampant hound stopped the clock in 29.56 seconds and an equally good show will be enough to earn him success tonight.
Frankies Hawk looks to be the biggest threat to him. The black dog is also coming into this class after suffering two terrible defeats at the higher level. A couple of rough rides would have dented his confidence, thus we are
reluctant to recommend him for the top prize. In his last outing, he covered 500 metres in 30.06 seconds.
Frisby Falcon has potential to do well, but needs to dig deep to beat this line-up. According to our calculations, the blue dog will be among top-3 position holders.
Kauto Jet often gets outpaced early on and it makes life tricky for her supporters. Despite the fact that she is coming after taking part in two open races, the b***h is not an ideal option for the punters.
Kowloon Conner pulled the latest race from out of the fire, but things are not that simple tonight. Similarly, Lorry Cross would find it difficult to make an impression.
Frankies Hawk and Iconic Missile are likely to get the highest starting price following their class drop. According to our predictions, the latter will be able to notch up the top spot. Good luck to all runners.
