Icons and writing too big

everything on my screen has gone really big, how do i get it back to normal??

Safe Mode Bootup

Try this, its easy and will not harm anything

Slowly tap the F8 key while the computer is powering up

Just after the screen goes blank, the F8 key will point the computer to a menu where safe mode can be selected.

Note if you mistakenly tap F8 key again, it will continue through to normal boot

Scroll and select last known good configuration.

This is stronger than doing a system restore in normal mode. See list..

System restore is the first line of restoration.

The second line is last good configuration.

The third line is system restore in safe mode.

The fourth line is repair from your disk recovery console.

The fifth line is a delete partition with clean install.

Go to the Control panel - Display - Appearance and change the 'Font size' dropdown box to normal and press 'Apply'

Then you will be good to go....

View ---> Text Size ---> Normal (or small whatever you want)

View is on your toolbar, it goes File, Edit, View, Favourites, Tools, Help...

on your desk top screen, right click your mouse, then properties, then settings, then slide the slider to less of more till your happy with your settings, click on apply to save your settings, failing this, move your chair 3 foot away from your screen & become stretch armstrong....

You could try system restore to a date when the icons etc were a normal size.

Got start - all programmes- accessorise - system tools - system restore.  pick a date you know things were ok.
