Idea's for a 6yo girl birthday party?

I need idea's for a low budget birthday party for my daughter she will be 6.I normally do it at chucky cheeze but this year it is not in the budget,so if anyone has any idea's on games or something please let me know.

when is it? Have a good old garden party bring the music out side have a treasure hunt and all the food out in the garden no mess in your house and the birds can eat the leftovers!!!! ask around to see if any of the other parents or maybe you have a 12" pool....thats a summer option........ at this time of year it would have to be inside without the pool...lol.....with any theme your daughter is into....

It is inexpensive and they will have a blast.  You can do a spa night and have her invite her girls over for an evening of manicures and pedicures.  tell the girls to come in pj's. My daughter (6) had a blast and so did her friends.  We just painted fingers, toes and you can do your hair if you want.  we did silly pig tails.  Good Luck and Hope this helped.  I had a couple of friends come help me with the painting of nails.

Dora cake- Home-made, just make a sheet cake and cut it into a football shape.

Pinatas are at walmart for 5 bucks but you have to fill them. use past holiday candys (on clearance really cheap) and go to the dollar store 4 candy

play corn startch- get 3 boxes of corn starch and add 1-2 cups of water. Mix it and seperate it. put food coloring in it. (color each one different) let the kids play with it. drop a penny in it. try to "float" a penny only using a penny and a paper clip.

let them dance.

play musical chair.

hide and seek

get easter eggs, fill them with little toys, write your girls name or happy b-day and let them look for them.

order a pizza or buy digornos!

go to walmart get some themes they have all the shows little kids like they also have fun games the kids will like and for a cake go to giant eagle and buy one there its cheap and have it in your home its fun as long as you buy games like pin the tail on the donkey and a pinata and you can buy crafts for them to do. Have it structured (since its for 6 year old) and you can create games such as musical chairs and buy little toys or candy for prizes

A lot of dollar stores have really cute princess dress-up things. You can get each girl a tiara, a boa and a strand of pearls. You can also buy these plain felt purses (they are small and pink) really cheap at the craft store and get some jewels and glitter for the girls to decorate them. Then once the girls are all dressed up you can have them walk down a run way (that you would have set up before hand) and at the end of it take each girls picture. When you write the thank you cards put the picture in there.

For party favors, give the girls lip gloss and nail polish to put in there purses.  

I would buy pink and purple streamers and balloons from the dollar store, and cut the paper products from there as well.

At that age, a good old fashioned birthday party will thrill her and the guests.  Chocolate cake and ice cream, pizza, and games!  You can do a pinata and games like hot potato, freeze dancing, musical chairs, duck duck goose, etc.  You can also do a little scavenger hunt.  Put them in 2 teams and make a list of things for them to find (very simple things like cup, book, toy,etc)  You can declare a winning team and give everyone a little prize (little play-do containers are cheap  You can get them in packages of like 10 for like 5 dollars)   You can add a theme and just have the plates, cups, goody bags, invitations to have that theme.  You can find awesome goody bag fillers at the dollar store.  Cheap little age appropriate toys and tons of candy.
