Due to the short notice, I was not able to buy a styrofoam solar system kit for my science project and have to improvise. The project calls for a demonstration and explanation of either the phases of the moon or a solar or lunar eclipse. Due to limited resources, I am doing the lunar eclipse. I thought of using my basketball as the sun, a baseball or something similar for the Earth, and something similar to a ball for the moon. However, it would be great if I could instead of just rotating them around with my hands, I could have a type of model with balls found around my house. I would want something in which I could show the moon and earth revolving. Does anyone have any ideas?
